Ranch Apocalypse
Ranch Apocalypse
by Skatenigs
If you've ever spent a day in Waco you will realize that this was one of many stories that can be told but certainly the most famous. What started as a smart-ass t-shirt turned into 2 songs on the album What a Mangled Web We Leave. The Branch Davideans and the ATF left a Texas sized brand on Waco and all involved. we just wrote the soundtrack to it.
Lyrics
Take a look off in the distance
Take a trip to outer space
We’ve got a lot of lead to show off now
We work for God buying guns for the arms race
A Texas Ranger screaming …”Come on Baby”
Ranch Apocalypse won’t you show me the way, yeah
Fifty-one days of madness
Turn up the volume and hit the lights
Determination shows no signs of sadness
We’ve got the guns and we’re ready to fight
A cult Davidian screaming… “Come on baby”
Ranch Apocalypse won’t you show me the way yeah
We’re going out in a blaze of glory, unfriendly fire apocalyptic prophecy
I’m just dying to tell my story, unfriendly fire apocalyptic prophecy
We’re going to paint the compound red and kiss the sky with smoking barrels (x2)
Step inside my Texas gas chamber
I’ve got to write the Seventh Seal
Don’t you know that it’s Armageddon
Davidian Heaven is a Hell of a place to be
A go-go girl screaming… “Come on Baby”
Ranch Apocalypse won’t you show me the way yeah
We’re going out in a blaze of glory, unfriendly fire apocalyptic prophecy
I’m just dying to tell my story, unfriendly fire apocalyptic prophecy
We’re going to paint the compound red and kiss the sky with smoking barrels (x2)
